I have a playlist called "ipod" that I select to sync to ipod. I have certain podcasts that I select to sync to ipod. I plug my ipod in and click sync. The end. I've been doing this for 10 years. Now what?

When you plug in your iPod, it will appear in the Finder sidebar and you can sync there.
