Yes. I'm rather shocked and appalled at how quickly people here have chosen (without evidence) to dis FB's development efforts. The OP's message was an informed, specific, actionable, and well-reasoned critique of the mobile browser environment for ALL APPs. And it seems clear that FB was trying really hard to make it work, but ran up against some very real browser and tooling limitations.
