Even though the price of RAM has gone up recently, it's still (even if you don't adjust for inflation) several orders of magnitude cheaper than it was in 1981...
I suppose that's one way to measure, but would a "real world measure" i.e. cost of the amount of ram to realistically run the apps/software/OS of the time be more relevant?
doesn't sound so different anymore...the VCs have managed to go back to the future...
