I'm a recent Computer Engineering graduate interested in systems, distributed systems, databases, and infrastructure. I've been contributing to the PostgreSQL ecosystem (9 merged PRs) and have worked on distributed systems in Go, including Raft, a fault-tolerant sharded KV store, and a distributed file system.
VictoriaMetrics looks particularly interesting to me because of the overlap with the kind of systems work I'd like to pursue. I'm based in Egypt, so EMEA remote opportunities would also be especially interesting.
