Is there a reason why this bug could _not_ be used as a feature by Google to work more effectively with the NSA? (It doesn't sound too far fetched to me, since we know that the NSA has even installed hardware at companies like Google.)

where did you find that? I thought all the big companies say they don't have anything installed by NSA, but that NSA can ask for data
