The article is not sensationalist.

While it's too short, and only scratches the surface of the topic, his idea is valid and not unfamiliar to people who like or hate these games.

I've played these games before and thought "this is American bullshit (for reasons stated in the article).... but kinda fun at the same".

The thing is, anyone who plays CoD for a reasonable amount of time (and I know I did, until MW1) spends half the time killing Americans, because the single player is only a footnote compared to the multi player.
